About
Fran Petersen's work is grounded in a bachelor's degree in Physical Education, a postgraduate qualification in Sports Nutrition, and more than five years of professional coaching experience.
Her early focus on physical development gradually expanded into an interest in the emotional patterns, beliefs, and relationships that shape human experience. This evolution led her towards a deeper inquiry into self-awareness and the conditions that make lasting change possible.
That inquiry now informs her independent study and the development of NOSTOS™, drawing together her coaching experience and her interests in psychology, philosophy, and human transformation.
The Framework
Nostos is an ancient Greek word meaning "returning home." The Nostos Framework is inspired by this idea — not of returning to a physical place, but of returning to yourself. Through psychology, self-awareness, philosophy, and timeless wisdom, the framework explores emotional patterns, personal growth, relationships, and meaningful change.
Understanding the psychology of meaningful change — the patterns that keep us stuck and the shifts that set us free.
Exploring how we connect, why we disconnect, and what it takes to build bonds rooted in authenticity and emotional depth.
The ongoing journey of self-awareness, emotional resilience, and returning to the truest version of who we are.
"The longest journey you will ever take is the journey back to yourself."
